AWAKEN WITH THE TRAGER®
APPROACH
by Elizabeth
Rohack
A profound way of n o t i c i n g . . . f e e l i n
g . . . being . . .
Discover a profound way of noticing, feeling and
being … a way of giving yourself the spaciousness
that your body/mind has not experienced in a long
time, or perhaps even forgotten. Receiving a Trager
Session provides restorative self-care movement for
your body, stillness for your mind and nourishment
for your spirit. This harmonious alignment of
body/mind/spirit integrated with the gentle touch of
a Trager Tablework Session and effortless self-care
movements open the door for new information to come
in and healing to occur. You begin “be-ing” and
moving in a different way … an easier, softer way.
How can you give our self space in your body … space in
your brain … space in your spine … space in your
breath? A simple pause between inhaling/exhaling
allows for awareness to seep in. To give space, one
must feel stillness or pausing, connect with our
breath and feel the body in full awareness and
presence -- that creates an exquisite experience
that taps into our brain rewiring. Neurons begin
talking to each other; synapses begin firing;
stimulation and growth is renewed again! We feel
refreshed and quietly energized; have a sense that
something is different and we want to bask in this
feeling of “pleasantness” forever. Recalling this
feeling through visualization and movement is core
to healing and change. We do that with Trager
Mentastics®.
Movement Re-education. With continued practice, we
begin to “awaken” and notice things differently. We
become more possibility-oriented and live fully in
the moment, honoring the sacredness of our body/mind
and are more present for others. Miracles happen in
this open, accepting “as-is” state of being.
